Safeguarding Statement
Kyson Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We are fully committed to ensuring consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school.
We follow procedures set out by Suffolk Safeguarding Children Board and take account of guidance issued by the Department for Children, Schools and Families. We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.
All our staff have had appropriate child protection training, which is updated annually, and our Child Protection Policy is available on our policies page. It is the Governing Body’s duty to ensure the policy is reviewed annually.
