Red January Theme Day
Well done to everyone who has completed any physical activity in order to keep themselves going this month. We are one of the first Primary Schools in the country to become involved in the RED January campaign and in order to celebrate this – Friday will be our RED January Theme Day. There will be no remote learning plans for any year group on Friday – the theme day is designed as a way to have a break, recharge the batteries, focus on physical and mental health – and have some fun along the way.
As part of the RED January campaign, we will be making a donation on behalf of the school to the Sport in Mind charity from our school community. If you wish to make your own donation you can find out more on the charity’s webpage https://www.sportinmind.org/
Please find attached some suggestions for activities your children might like to get involved in on Friday. There is no obligation to do all or any of the activities – find things that you and your children will enjoy – or think of your own. • Mrs Leabon’s Sports Masterclasses
• Designing trainers and sports kit
And the day will finish with the chance to join in with a game of Live Kyson Family Bingo!
We hope the children will find something that they can enjoy during the day. If your circumstances make it tricky to join in during Friday – please feel free to adapt and take part in events on a different day.
