Year 1 – 6

Year 1 – 6 children have their own Log in details for wonde.  They can use it to access a variety of different activities and applications, some of which are explained in greater detail below.

Most (particularly good for maths games)

Choose from the ‘Popular Subjects’ box with lilac border.

Some of these games/activities are marked as ‘tablet friendly’.  Each one has a suggested age range.


If you’re not sure what to look for, the following two games are a good place to start.

·  Daily 10 is easy to use.  You can change the level, area of maths and how long you have to answer the questions.  You will need paper and pencil to record your answers.

· (Year 1 and above) Covers Number bonds, Doubles, Halves, Times tables, Division Facts, Square Numbers

No Log in required.  Click on ‘Start Creating’.  Year 2-6 have used this in some form and can enjoy exploring it further.

Computing - Coding

If children in Reception and Year 1 want to try their hand at some simple coding, then Scratch Jr is available as a free app on most app stores.


Any go to New to Twinkl, add an email address and password and type in UKTWINKLHELPS in the offer code (This will give you free access to the resources for the duration of school closures).

Click on age group of your child along the top line, under the top blue banner.

EYFS (Nursery or Reception), KS1 (Years 1 and 2), KS2 (Years 3-6)

Then click on the area of learning/subject you’d like a resource for.

Or if you know the type of thing you are looking for, you can type it into the ‘Search’ bar at the top.

E.g. Addition to 20, Year 3 Reading Comprehension, Adding and subtracting decimals, Sorting materials.

Click on ‘Watch The episodes’. Choose the length, energy level or category you would like. 

These episodes can also be found on YouTube or the Cosmic Kids app if you prefer.



On YouTube search for ‘Joe Wicks Kids Workout’ where he has created a variety of different workouts for children. 



You can access free e-books at this website.  You are required to create a log-in, but there is no charge.
